Anthurium Care: Tips
|
posted by Adrien Saint
Here are the RPC tips for your anthuriums:
- minimum temperature 16 degrees, some grow high in altitude in the cool, and for anthuriums excessive heat can be hard to take
- light: bright without direct sunlight necessary, although a gentle ray of sunlight stimulates them a little
- potting soil: you can repot almost all year round, in a very well-draining mix if possible, we sell a top quality recipe specially for anthuriums on the site
- watering: you can let it dry before watering again
Pro tip: Anthuriums produce inflorescences and if you have two inflorescences, one in the nectar phase and one in the pollen phase, then you can apply pollen to the nectar and a few weeks later you will have berries and seeds. You can even experiment with making hybrids!
