Alocasia Care: Tips

Here are the RPC tips for your alocasia:
- minimum temperature 19 degrees
- light: very bright with a little direct sunlight, be careful in winter depending on your region, if your area is too dark you can remedy this with a horticultural lamp (they are sold on the site)
- potting soil: we recommend repotting during the growing season (May-September) with indoor plant potting soil. We sell a special ultra-high-quality alocasia recipe on the site.
- watering: re-water when the soil is almost dry but not completely dry, by soaking your pot with water.
Pro tip: Alocasias love growing in semi-hydro, that is to say in pots with a water reserve. There are a few things to know about this growing method which suits them perfectly: keep the room temperature at 20 degrees or more, wash from time to time, and add a special semi-hydro fertilizer.
